This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how we collect, use, and disclose information through our school nursing portal and related services and those Customers (refers to a school, camp, or other education entity) who engage us to provide the Service.

This policy applies to personal and medical information collected through MyCabinet’s services, including our website, applications for smartphones and tablets, and other related platforms (referred to as “Service” or “Services”). The use of information collected through our service is limited to the purpose of providing the service for which our client has engaged MyCabinet. The information collected through our service is used to fulfill the purpose for which our client has engaged MyCabinet. This Policy does not apply to the practices of the companies that we do not own or control or to those individuals that we do not manage or employ. This Policy does not apply to third-party sites linked within our platform, which have their own privacy policies.
3. Personal Information We Collect
We collect the following types of personal information and this includes but is not limited to:
- From Schools, Parents, “Customers”: Student demographic information, medical health information, medical history, immunization records, allergies, conditions, health concerns, prescribed medications, treatment plans, and any other information used by Customers in connection with the Service. This information can be collected for example, through manual entry from the school staff or parent, through integration with student information systems and through any other entity in connection with the Customer and in fulfillment of the Service. Accounts for students under the age of 18 must be managed by a parent or guardian, as they cannot create their own accounts within the Service. We do not reach out to minors under 18 about our Service or ask them for their personal information.
- From Healthcare Providers & School Staff: Health assessments, emergency contact details, physician forms, emergency medical documents, health plans and forms, enrollment data, medication administration records, and any other information used by Customers in connection with the Service.
- From Website Visitors: Names, emails, and contact details for those who request more information from our public website (www.MyCabinet.com)
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide secure health record management services to schools, camps and authorized users.
- Facilitate communication between parents, school nurses, school staff and administrators, and authorized medical professionals.
- Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations.
